Color range mask

A color range mask selects parts of your photo based on color: you click a hue and the software grabs all similar colors. That way you adjust just the green of the grass or just the blue of the sky, for example. It's masking by color instead of by shape or brightness.

Click the eyedropper on the color you want to isolate and drag to widen or narrow the range. Handy for recoloring one sweater or selectively deepening a sky. Combine a color range mask with a luminance range for extra precision, hitting only the right color at the right brightness. It often works cleaner than masking by hand when colors are clearly defined.
