Basic Color Editor
The Basic tab of the Color Editor in Capture One works with broad, predefined colour ranges. You pick a colour like red, green or blue and adjust its hue, saturation and lightness. It's the fastest and most approachable way to steer colour.
For most photos Basic is exactly enough: shift the green of a landscape or pull some saturation out of a busy background without any fuss. The colour ranges overlap smoothly, so an adjustment blends naturally. Need finer control over one very specific colour? Then move to Advanced. Tip: always start in Basic and only switch to Advanced when a neighbouring colour shifts along unwantedly.
