Advanced Color Editor
The Advanced tab of the Color Editor in Capture One gives you full control over a single colour range of your choosing. You decide how wide that range is and how soft the transition to the rest is. This lets you change a colour extremely selectively without the neighbouring colours shifting along.
This is the tool for tricky jobs, like two shades of green that blend together in Basic but that you want to steer separately. Narrow the range down to exactly the colour you want, then drag hue, saturation and lightness. The 'smoothness' control sets how seamlessly the adjustment blends. Tip: turn on 'View selected color range' so you can see the exact mask before you start sliding.
