Color readout
The Color readout in Capture One shows the exact colour values under your cursor, for example the RGB numbers of a skin tone or a white wall. This lets you judge colour by figures rather than just by your screen. It's an essential check for precision work like product and reproduction photography.
Hover over the photo and the readout shows how red, green and blue relate, so you can see whether a neutral grey really is neutral. You can also place fixed sample points that show the values permanently, handy for matching two shots. That way you catch a colour cast your eye misses on an uncalibrated screen. Tip: place a sample point on the skin and on a neutral area, then steer colour reliably with the Color Editor and curve.
