Batch processing
Batch processing is applying the same edit to a whole series of photos at once. That way you give a hundred photos from a shoot the same look, white balance or export in one go. It saves a huge amount of time and keeps a series consistent.
In Lightroom, edit one photo to taste and sync those settings to the rest of the selection, or paste them with copy and paste. Presets are gold here: pick a look, apply it to the whole series, then only fine-tune exposure and white balance per photo. In Photoshop you use actions and droplets to automate edits. Always work with a fixed workflow so you forget nothing across the batch.
