Hue/Saturation

With Hue/Saturation you shift your image's hue, saturation and lightness in Photoshop, for all colors at once or per color channel. That lets you adjust only the greens or tone down the reds, for example. It is the direct way to steer individual colors.

Add it as an adjustment layer and choose Master or a specific color like red or blue from the dropdown. With the eyedropper plus the hand you click a color in your photo and drag to fine-tune that exact hue. Tick Colorize for a quick duotone or tinted look. Tip: pull down the saturation of one distracting color rather than the whole image, that looks far more natural.
