Lens corrections
The lens corrections panel in Lightroom automatically corrects the typical flaws of your lens: distortion, vignetting and chromatic aberration. Lightroom often recognises your lens and applies the right profile with one checkbox. That makes your image straighter and cleaner without measuring anything.
Turn on 'enable profile corrections' to clean up bulging or barrel distortion and dark corners. 'Remove chromatic aberration' takes away the coloured fringes that appear mainly at high-contrast edges. If Lightroom doesn't find your lens automatically, you pick it from the list by hand. Tip: apply lens corrections early in your workflow, since they affect the crop and the edges of your image.
