Transform / Upright

The transform panel with Upright corrects skewed lines and perspective distortion in Lightroom, such as leaning buildings. Upright analyses your photo and straightens vertical and horizontal lines automatically. Alongside it you can adjust sliders for vertical, horizontal, rotate, scale and offset by hand.

Especially for architecture and interiors this is gold: a wide angle quickly makes lines fall inward, and Upright straightens them out again. Try the automatic modes first (Auto, Level, Vertical, Full) and see which works best. With 'Guided' you draw lines yourself along what should be straight, for the most control. Tip: apply lens corrections first, then Upright works more accurately.
