Presets (Capture One)

A preset in Capture One stores the settings of a single tool, for example just the Curve or just the Color Editor. That's what sets a preset apart from a Style, which bundles settings from several tools at once. Presets are the building blocks you can assemble Styles from.

Made a nice contrast curve? Save it as a tool preset and reuse it without touching the rest of your edit. That's handy when you want to build up part by part rather than apply a complete look. You'll find presets in each tool's own menu. Tip: build a small library of tool presets for your go-to contrast and colour choices, and you'll work much faster.
