Smart sharpen
Smart Sharpen is Photoshop's more modern sharpening filter, with more control and less risk of ugly fringes. You set strength and radius, and can reduce noise and limit halos. It is the best choice for targeted, clean sharpening.
Choose Filter, Sharpen, Smart Sharpen and set Amount and Radius for your image. Reduce Noise keeps you from boosting grain in flat areas, and the separate shadow and highlight controls keep halos in check. Apply it to a smart object so it becomes an editable smart filter. Tip: use this as the last step before you export and match the strength to the final size.
