Character and mood

Team & Reportage is a preset that doesn't draw attention to itself. That's the point. It keeps colours calm, holds skin tones steady, and makes sure people look natural even when standing side by side. For group shots and corporate reportage, that quiet consistency matters more than any stylistic statement.

Technically, the preset pulls highlights back slightly and lifts shadows with a gentle hand. The result is a compressed tonal range that handles mixed lighting well, the kind you find at offices, events, or any location where windows and artificial light compete. Colours are tuned to neutral, with particular care for skin. Oranges and reds are dialled back so faces don't read as too warm or flushed. White balance is left untouched by design, keeping you in control. Contrast is present but restrained, so faces stay soft and approachable.

This preset works well for office group portraits, corporate reportage with multiple people in frame, conferences, team events, and studio team shots. Any situation where skin consistency across several people matters is where this preset finds its purpose.

You reach for Team & Reportage when you need a series of images to feel like they belong together. Not because you're cutting corners, but because coherence is the craft here. One click sets the tone for the entire shoot. After that, you only adjust what actually needs adjusting on a per-image basis.

A practical tip: apply the preset to your full selection first, then sync exposure corrections image by image. The colour profile stays consistent across the set while you keep individual control over exposure. It's the fastest way to deliver a cohesive series without every frame looking like a copy of the last.
