For people around the table under artificial light: it pulls the green tinge out of fluorescent light, warms the skin and keeps the mood approachable. Natural and pleasant.

Character and mood
Meeting was made for the locations photographers tend to avoid: canteens, conference rooms, school halls, sports facilities. Spaces where fluorescent light dominates and every skin tone looks slightly off. This preset fixes that without flattening the mood. The result feels ordinary, familiar, real.
Technically, the preset does two things at once. It removes the green cast that fluorescent and LED lighting introduces, and compensates with warmth that lands on skin rather than spreading across the entire frame. That distinction matters. Many warm presets push yellow into everything, including white walls and white shirts. Meeting is more precise: the warmth sits in the midtones, where skin actually lives. Shadows stay neutral. The contrast is soft but not flat. Detail in faces and clothing remains visible without the image looking polished or processed.
It works best with people in groups, at a moderate distance, under overhead lighting without additional flash or reflectors. Think of a presentation, a staff meeting, a school awards ceremony, a community board gathering. But portrait shots in a corporate lobby or an interview at a conference table also respond well to this preset. The key is artificial light, preferably fluorescent or LED with a green or neutral color bias.
You reach for Meeting when you are shooting a reportage or series with little control over the lighting and no time to adjust each image individually. One click gives the whole series a consistent, pleasant look. It suits editorial delivery, internal corporate communication, school photography or documentary work where you are capturing people in their everyday surroundings.
A practical note: set your in-camera white balance to Fluorescent or TL-light before you start shooting. The preset is calibrated against that baseline. If you shoot on Auto white balance, results can vary slightly from frame to frame. A small adjustment of the Color Temperature slider in Lightroom, fifty to a hundred Kelvin up or down, is usually enough to bring everything into line.
