Library module

The Library module is the heart of your management in Lightroom Classic: this is where you import, sort, rate and search your photos. You see your whole catalog as a grid or a single photo and assign stars, flags and labels here. You switch to it with the shortcut G for the grid.

The Library module is about organising, not editing, which you do in Develop. Use folders and collections to stay organised and keywords to find photos again quickly later. While culling you use flags (pick or reject) to select your best images at speed. Tip: learn the keys P (pick) and X (reject) and you'll cull through a whole shoot in no time.
