Clone

Cloning copies a piece of your photo exactly to another spot, without blending color or tone. You pick a source and paint it precisely over the area you want to replace. It's the direct, predictable counterpart to healing.

Use cloning where healing smears, such as along hard edges, a horizon or a tight pattern. Set your source point first and make sure the structure and direction match the target area. For a repeating pattern (like bricks or sky) cloning is often cleaner than healing. In Photoshop, work on an empty layer with 'All Layers' as the source to stay non-destructive.
