Spot removal
Spot removal is taking out dust spots, sensor specks and small distractions from your photo. With the spot removal tool you point to the spot and the software picks a clean source patch to cover it. It's often one of the last steps in your edit.
Turn on the 'Visualize Spots' mode in Lightroom, and dust spots against a plain sky light up clearly so you miss none. Work systematically from top to bottom so you skip nothing. For larger objects or edges, prefer cloning or a proper retouching tool. A clean sensor saves you a lot of work afterward, so clean your glass and sensor regularly.
