AI Denoise

AI Denoise is Lightroom's noise reduction that uses machine learning to remove noise from your RAW while keeping detail. It works far better than the classic noise sliders, especially with high-ISO photos. You'll find it in the detail panel under Noise Reduction.

You click Denoise, set the strength and Lightroom creates a new, cleaned-up DNG file alongside your original. Rendering takes some time and computing power, so it works best on a somewhat faster computer. Because it works on your RAW, you get the best quality if you do this early in your edit. Tip: don't overdo the strength, too much noise reduction makes skin and detail too smooth and plastic.
