Normalize

Normalize in Capture One matches the exposure and colour of one photo to another. You pick a reference point in a good shot and apply the same value to the matching spot in a second shot. This makes a series consistent in brightness and colour quickly.

It's ideal for series where the light wavers a little, for example portraits or products you want to keep even. You choose whether to match luminance only, colour only or both, and Capture One works out the adjustment. That saves correcting every photo by eye separately. Tip: pick a reliable neutral point such as a grey card or a white edge, so the matching holds across the whole series.
