RGB parade

The RGB parade shows the red, green and blue channels side by side as three separate waveforms. So you can see per color how strong it sits in shadows, midtones and highlights. It's the best scope for pinpointing a color cast.

When the three channels line up at equal height in the shadows, your blacks are neutral, and the same goes for white in the highlights. If one channel sticks out, say blue too high in the shadows, you've got a blue cast that's easy to fix. In DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro the parade sits with your scopes. Tip: use the parade to straighten your white balance before you start on your look.
