Tethered / Live View
Shooting tethered in Capture One means your camera is connected to your computer by cable, so photos appear on your screen instantly. With Live View you see the camera feed in real time and can focus and frame from the computer. Capture One is known as the best software for tethered work.
In the studio tethered is ideal: you review every shot large on screen right away and can adjust settings like shutter speed and aperture remotely. Live View helps with still life and product photography, where you want to check millimetre work before you capture. You can even show an overlay to align your frame exactly. Tip: set up a fixed folder structure in your Session, so your tethered shots land in the right place automatically.
