Texture

Texture strengthens or softens the fine detail in your photo, like skin, fabric, leaves or stone. Unlike clarity, texture works on smaller details and leaves the larger transitions alone. That keeps the image more natural.

Push texture up to make hair, fur or landscape detail crisp without clarity's hard halos. For portraits, negative texture works beautifully: it softens skin but keeps eyes and lashes sharp. Use texture locally with a mask when you only want to affect certain areas. It's one of the most underrated sliders for subtle improvements.
