April smells like wet soil and fresh leaves. The preset captures that feeling: light that is not yet harsh, colours that breathe, an atmosphere as if the day has only just started. Technically, April pulls back the highlights without losing warmth. Shadows stay open, light but not empty. One practical tip: if your photo contains a lot of blue in the sky or in the shadows, the slightly cool white balance can feel a touch too blue. In that case, open the HSL panel, find the blue slider and pull the saturation back a step. It takes two seconds, and the image falls exactly into place.
