On a technical level, Garden Reception lifts the exposure slightly and pulls the highlights back at the same time. That combination keeps bright dresses, light tablecloths and open skies from clipping, while giving the overall image a little more air. Whites shift toward a warm cream tone, which reads as genuine daylight rather than artificial light. Contrast is raised just enough to give structure to faces and foliage without making the image feel heavy.
