Here is what the preset does to your photo: the blue tones gain depth and the sea stays saturated, while the sand stays cool and neutral. The whites are pulled clean, so foam and clouds stay open without falling apart. Contrast is kept in check, which makes your image look clear without turning harsh. Skin and lighter tones stay natural, even when the sun is bright.

The look suits seawater photos, beach scenes and anything you capture under a blue sky. Waves, a pier, a row of beach huts, a horizon lying flat. Wider coastal landscapes work well too, because the preset lets the blue speak without pushing the rest of the frame away.

You reach for Tide Line when you want to keep that cool, fresh daylight mood the way you saw it. On a clear day the look strengthens what is already there, rather than laying a filter over the top. For warmer, low sun another preset in this pack works better, but for bright midday light this is your starting point.

A practical tip: shoot with the sun behind you or to the side, so the water keeps its colour. In strong backlight the blue can drain away and you lose exactly what this look depends on. After applying it, check the whites in the foam and pull them back a fraction if they run too far. That keeps the freshness in place without losing detail.
