Technically, the preset pulls highlights toward a cool silver-grey and lifts the shadows away from pure black, letting them settle into a soft, slightly bluish tone. Midtones keep enough detail to read clearly, but lose their warmth. Colours are muted without being removed, as if the whole image was photographed through thin frosted glass. The tone curve is shaped to feel analogue, close to early film photography, but with colour still present and intact.

The preset works best with diffused or side light. Street scenes in the early morning or late afternoon, portraits in open shade, landscapes under overcast skies or with actual mist in the frame. Architecture responds well to the silver tones, especially when concrete, stone, or metal are part of the composition.
