Color grading panel
The color grading panel in Lightroom lets you add colour to the shadows, midtones and highlights of your photo. With three colour wheels you set hue and saturation per tonal range, plus a global wheel for the whole image. It's the modern, more capable successor to split toning.
With this you give a photo atmosphere and a recognisable look, like warm highlights and cool shadows for a cinematic feel. Each wheel has, besides hue and saturation, a luminance slider to make that tonal range lighter or darker. With balance and blending you set how strongly and where the colours mix. Tip: start subtle, a little colour in shadow and highlight often does exactly what you're after.
