Select sky (Photoshop)

Select Sky uses AI to automatically recognize the sky in your photo and turn it into a selection in one click. Photoshop neatly separates the sky from the landscape, including tricky edges like branches. It is the basis for a new sky or a targeted adjustment.

Choose Select, Sky and Photoshop marks off the sky automatically. Turn the selection into a layer mask to, for example, make the sky darker or bluer without touching the landscape. For a full replacement you are better off with Sky Replacement, which also matches the color. Tip: check the edges around trees and buildings, that is where the selection sometimes stumbles.
