Magic Brush
The Magic Brush is Capture One's smart masking brush that automatically sticks to the edges of your subject. You paint roughly over an area and the tool works out where the colour and brightness boundaries lie. This builds an accurate mask in seconds without careful colouring.
Want to select just the sky or a sweater? Brush roughly over it and the Magic Brush fills the range up to the edges. It works best on clearly defined areas with good colour contrast. For tricky transitions you can refine afterwards with the regular brush. Tip: adjust the sensitivity if the Magic Brush spills over an edge, so your mask stays inside the lines.
