Snapshot
A snapshot captures a particular state of your edit in Lightroom Classic. You can later jump back to that point with one click, even if you've edited further since. Handy for keeping different versions of a look within the same photo.
Unlike the history panel, which shows your steps linearly, a snapshot saves a fixed state with a name you choose. So you can keep and compare 'colour', 'black and white' and 'high contrast' side by side, for example. Snapshots stay even if your history is cleared later. Tip: make a snapshot as soon as you're happy with a version, then you can keep experimenting freely.

The presets on this site set these adjustments up for you as a starting point, which you then fine-tune to taste.
