Panorama merge (Lightroom)

With panorama merge Lightroom automatically stitches several overlapping photos into one wide image. You select the series, choose Merge Photos to Panorama and Lightroom aligns them and builds a new DNG from it. That way you make an image much wider or taller than fits in a single shot.

Perfect for sweeping landscapes or tall buildings that won't fit in your angle of view. You choose a projection (spherical, cylindrical or perspective) that best suits your scene. 'Boundary Warp' or fill solves the white edges that the alignment creates. Tip: shoot your frames with plenty of overlap, around a third, and keep exposure and focus consistent across the whole series.
