Puppet Warp

With Puppet Warp you place points on a subject and bend it as if it were a puppet. You set anchor points that stay put and drag other points to change shape or pose. Handy for moving an arm, bending a branch or straightening a line.

Select the layer, choose Edit, Puppet Warp and click pins on the spots you want to fix or move. Place pins along a subject, hold down the parts that should stay still and drag the rest to the desired pose. Work on a cut-out subject on its own layer, so the background stays intact. Tip: use it subtly, big distortions stretch texture and quickly look unnatural.
