Parallel nodes

Parallel nodes edit the same image independently and are then combined. They all see the same source, rather than each other's result. Handy when you want several edits that don't get in each other's way.

Use parallel nodes when you want to adjust, say, two separate skin tones or a sky and a foreground independently. Because they all start from the source, one change doesn't affect the other, and they only blend at the end. In DaVinci Resolve you create them via the right-click menu in the node editor. Tip: use parallel for equal corrections and serial for steps that need to build on each other.
